Job Overview

We are currently seeking French Speaking Tour Guide to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position. The Tour Guide will be responsible for leading groups through Egypt's most iconic historical and cultural sites, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of guests, and creating unforgettable experiences that reflect the values of Voyageurs Du Monde.

Role Description

Guide guests through key tourist sites with passion and professionalism
Present historical, cultural, and practical information in a clear, engaging manner
Adapt the tour experience to the needs and interests of the group
Respond to guest inquiries and provide recommendations on local attractions, dining, and shopping
Ensure group safety and manage timing to adhere to the planned itinerary
Coordinate with the Tour Leader, drivers, and local vendors to ensure smooth logistics
Support guests with any challenges that arise during the tour
Be a cultural ambassador and maintain a respectful, neutral, and professional demeanor at all times
Demonstrate deep knowledge of Egypt's history, archaeology, and modern life
Maintain up-to-date certifications and licenses required for tour guiding in Egypt

Qualifications

Final-year students and Fresh graduates
proficiency in French
Degree in Egyptology, History, or related field preferred
Excellent communication and storytelling skills
